現在、El Capitan (10.11.1) + NVIDIA Web Driver (346.03.03f02) で、Final Cut Pro X (10.2.2) において、オーディオ付きのクリップにトランジションを使用すると CVDisplaylink がクラッシュする事態に直面しています。GTX 970 および GTX 650 Ti で同じ現象を確認しました。これは、ほぼ Final Cut Pro X が利用できないと言えるとても厄介な状態です。
調べてみると、以前から他のアプリケーションでも Web Driver によって CVDisplaylink クラッシュが引き起こされている人もいるようです。
アップデートで改善されることを願うしかありません。

追記１：ドライバー 346.03.03f02 を削除して、一つ古い 346.03.03f01 をインストールすることで、ひとまず問題は回避できました。
追記２：346.03.04f01 および 346.03.04f02 でも改善しませんでした。
追記３：ついに直りました！ 346.03.05f01 でクラッシュしなくなりました。

I have to use much slower Radeon graphics card instead of GTX 970 and work with terrible efficiency.
This is a really serious situation for me.

I uninstalled the driver (346.03.03f02) and then I installed older driver (346.03.03f01).
